There are quite a few websites on astronomy, star maps, why create another one? I will answer you. If you want to know reliable, accurate knowledge of the stars and planets, you turn to astronomers. They have databases, maps, all this is very accurate, and repeatedly verified. But. Have you seen yourself SIMBAD database? Have you seen the visualization of the Gaia archive created by the ESA? All this is not too convenient for the average person. And another example, have you ever played the computer game Mass Effect? look at how the galaxy map is arranged there. Of course, the game is fictional. But, sometimes it seems to me that astronomers would sometimes have to play games like Mass Effect in order to have an example of how star maps can be made interesting and comfortable. This site is an attempt to make a convenient and interesting map of our galaxy. Of course, not all stars are applied to it, (and never, probably every single one, will not be applied), but all the most interesting star systems are here. You can enter each star system, consider which planets are known in it (if they are known), exactly as it was done in the game Mass Effect. There are all known exoplanets, and as they are discovered, they will be added. Moreover, all information is reliable, for each digit and each line, you can always find out the source of information.

First of all, of course, I searched using Google, maybe this site already exists? But, unfortunately, all that I found was only disappointing. All the resources of professional astronomers are inconvenient for the average person. All resources where there is a 3D star map do not say anything about exoplanets, and as a rule, they say very little about the characteristics of stars. All resources dedicated to exoplanets do not contain three-dimensional maps, and it is often quite difficult to collect information about the planets of the same star system when there are several planets. There are also very strange, in my opinion, resources where maps of stars or even the entire galaxy are shown without the use of 3D. Finally, there are many programs of planetariums or space simulators, where everything can be good in the sense of graphics and 3D, but not very good or very bad, in the sense of reliability of information. Such programs have to be installed on your PC, while their database is not updated and quickly becomes outdated, sources of information are not listed, etc. So, I came to the conclusion that in the vast Internet, there is no resource corresponding to the idea outlined in the previous section.

The new version of the service also uses an improved database, and now new data is loaded into a new database, and the old one remains unchanged. When the new version of the server, the client and the database is ready for publication, it will all be installed and it is likely that the service may be unavailable for a couple of days due to technical work.

Completed verification of data exoplanets, and cleaning them from unconfirmed candidates.
Total, in the database there were 4224 planets (Including 8 in the Solar System)
Among them: 3544 planets are present simultaneously in two sources - NASA Exoplanet Archive, and The Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia
133 planets are present only in The Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia and are missing from NASA,
539 planets are present only in NASA Exoplanet Archive, and are absent in the European base.

And besides, the auto-add data function appeared: If the requested star is not found in the database, it will be downloaded from the SIMBAD database. Thus, any visitor to the site can add stars to the three-dimensional map that are not on it yet. Just enter its name in the search, and the star you are looking for will appear in any case. If all the same, the system answers "nothing is found" - it means, then what you are asking is unknown even to the base SIMBAD.

The site already previously had a news system, but it was made on the basis of a third-party CMS, and unexpected technical problems arose with it. Simply put, it was hacked.
This event convinced me that you should not trust third-party solutions offered for free on the Internet. A reliable program code is one that you wrote yourself. Anyway, in website building like this.
After this, the project returned to the paradigm of a completely self-made website, and the news system, which this time appeared again, is also completely self-made.
